Iago hate Othello because he thinks he is sleeping with is wife but he doesn't know if its true or not hes just suspicious. and he gave away iagos job. iago was being petty because he was just making stuff up so he can have a reason to hate him.
one time my friend got mad at his boyfriend and they broke up because he thought he was cheating on him with one of his friends.
My friend had a similar reaction from her boyfriend and he broke up with her basically over the assumption that she was cheating even though she wasn't.
